Internship Training Programme
Internship Training Programme is an integral component of the B.Ed. programme, designed to provide prospective teachers with practical teaching experience and professional exposure in real classroom situations. It bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application by enabling student teachers to develop essential teaching competencies, classroom management skills, communication skills and professional attitudes.
During the internship, B.Ed. trainees are placed in various schools where they observe experienced teachers, prepare lesson plans, conduct classroom teaching, use innovative teaching-learning materials, organize co-curricular activities and participate in school-based activities.
The programme helps trainees understand students' individual differences, learning needs and classroom challenges. It also promotes reflective teaching, professional ethics, leadership qualities and confidence among future teachers.
The internship training programme aims to transform B.Ed. trainees into competent, committed, creative and responsible teachers who can contribute effectively to the educational development of society.
